Will Smith Is Working on a 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' Reboot
Smith reclaims his Bel-Air throne.
It’s been a string of nostalgic reboots with the likes of The X-Files, Full House and Ghostbusters among a slew of other ’90s favorites getting a reprieve in modern day. Well now, Will Smith is reportedly working on a refresh of one of our favorite classics, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. As TVLine reports, Will Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment is in the very early stages of “developing a present-day family comedy that puts a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of Fresh Prince.” Smith is listed as producer, and is supposedly shopping the show to networks with wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
