adidas Originals steps into the U.S. Open fold with the shoe that started it all – and then some.
Lest we forget, adidas’ Stan Smith silhouette is one of the most successful transitions from on-court to off-court style in history. Here adidas Originals celebrates its tennis heritage ahead of America’s biggest court tournament, breaking out the Stan Smith and the modern classic ZX Flux for the “U.S. Open” pack. The shoe that started it all here gets the championship treatment, outfitted with pristine white leather and detailed with orange felt at the heel counter. Elsewhere, the ZX Flux arrives in both grey and red colorways, both of which have been treated with a custom hand-printed dyeing process that makes each pair unique; this technique mirrors the performance pieces adidas Tennis athletes will wear on-court. Arriving in very limited quantities only at select flagships and Originals retailers, pick up the “U.S. Open” pack beginning August 28.
