This holiday season will see Nike Sportswear dropping a rugged update to one of its most popular silhouettes of the moment: the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Huarache. Dubbed the Air Huarache Utility, the new take on the retro runner retains the low-top look of old, as well as its signature neoprene and mesh construction, but now pairs the look with a modified traction outsole, overlaying reinforcements, Dynamic Flywire support, and a D-ring lacing grommet that works in conjunction with the TPU heel support wrap — via a nylon attachment — so as to provide an improved lockdown fit when fully laced. Look for camouflage and monochromatic black and white colorways to hit NSW spots this holiday season while all four pairs can already be pre-ordered via Tokyo’s atmos.
