A Closer Look at the McQ by Alexander McQueen x PUMA Disc Blaze
A high-fashion makeover of streetwear classic kicks.
After being treated to the McQ and PUMA 2015 fall/winter collaboration video lookbook, we now focus on the two colorways of the Disc Blaze silhouette. The designers at Alexander McQueen reinvent the Disc Blaze by giving the kicks a high-fashion makeover. The shoes now sport new paneling on the upper with a premium leather layering that covers the area surrounding the now clear plastic Disc dial. Absent from the release is the PUMA side-stripe logos which give the illusion of a complete design overhaul, however despite the cosmetic revitalization, the original Trinomic tooling is retained allowing for maximized comfort. There are two colorways available, with an all-black iteration complete with orange accentuations and a grey/blue/red variation. The Alexander McQueen x PUMA Disc Blaze is available now via SUPPA for $215 USD.
