UPDATE: YouTube Gamer PewDiePie Made Over $7 Million USD Last Year
The Swede responds to all the hate he’s been receiving in a new video.
Swedish YouTube game reviewer PewDiePie – real name Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg — is an online personality internationally known for his YouTube channel where he regularly uploads vlogs of him playing and reviewing video games. The 25-year-old now owns his own company PewDiePie Productions, which made an astounding $7.45 million USD in revenue in 2014. In 2013 Felix became the most subscribed YouTube channel, and as of June 2015 he has over 37 million subscribers and over 9 billion video views. “I still spent far more money on charities than anything I’ve ever spent for myself. Which I am proud to say at least,” remarks Felix about his spending habits; him and his fans have also raised over $1 million USD for a number of charities as well. Felix’s future endeavors includes the upcoming October release of his book This Book Loves You, which is a compilation of his favorite quotes, all from his extensive video archives.
