PUMA Sends Cuban & American Sprinters on a Colorful Dash Through Havana
Following political detente, American and Cuban runners embark on a joint run through the island capital.
Perfectly timed to coincide with news of the restoration of diplomatic ties between the U.S. and Cuba, PUMA has released the latest installment in its IGNITE YOUR CITY film series, this time featuring the Cuban capital of Havana. For the run, PUMA flew in three American sprinters to team up with members of the Cuban National Track & Field team, and equipped each runner with their own pair of the PUMA Ignite running shoes sporting advanced energy return technology. Beginning in the Estadio Panamericano, the ensemble make their way through the time capsule that is Havana, down the Malecon esplanade, past the Rafael Trejo gym, before ending up on a rooftop in the Havana Vieja city epicenter.
