Nineteen-year-old Pablo Dylan may be becoming known for his production, but he has something to say, too. Fresh off placements for “Max B” from A$AP Rocky‘s At. Long. Last. A$AP album and OG Maco‘s entire Tax Free EP, the Los Angeles native just dropped a project of his own. The Darkwood EP is comprised of four tracks, which Dylan told The 405 he “had written out in somewhat of an essay type format before I even sat down and started writing the lyrics or making the beats. I knew exactly the change that I wanted to see within the world from this piece of work.” With lyrics like “kids these days live our lives with a sense of paranoia” and “I’m not old enough to drink, but I could die for my country tonight,” that mindset certainly comes through in the songs. Listen up top and be on the lookout for more sounds from Dylan on OG Maco’s upcoming debut album, Children of the Rage.
