With the Bayou State holding the highest rate of convictions of public officials – 400 of them were convicted over the past 10 years – the Big Easy’s Sneaker Politics addresses this issue the best way it knows how: through clothing. The retailer has teamed up with Mitchell & Ness to confront state corruption head-on with a new snapback hat. The limited collection of hats all feature grey bodies and are emblazoned with the words “Corrupt Since Day One,” a tongue-in-cheek nod at the state office.
