Contemporary Japanese designer Kazuyuki Kumagai has taken the wraps off of his first collection for 2016 in the form of a lookbook for the spring/summer season. Marked by a monochromatic color palette of greys and black, the range is dominated by soft cottons and airy linens as shorts, cropped trousers and tees join suiting, lightweight outerwear, caps and more. Bookended with a dash of camouflage, Kumugai’s no-frills pieces will make their debut at retail early next year.
