'Jurassic World' Set for a Sequel in 2018
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are back for round 2.

Universal Pictures has announced that a Jurassic World sequel is in the works and will hit theaters June 22, 2018. Following news that the summer blockbuster dethroned Fast and Furious 7 as this year’s highest grossing film and becoming the third highest grossing film of all time, a sequel is not a surprise. Jurassic World co-writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly will write the new film, while a director hasn’t been announced. In addition to the writers, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be reprising their roles as Owen Grady and Clare Dearing respectively. Sound off in the comments with your thoughts and whether you’re excited.
