Maintaining the classic silhouette and overall feel of the original Chuck Taylor, the II adds modern refinements that ultimately make it a worthy successor in both high- and low-top renditions. Upgrades arrive in the form of improved canvas sourced for durability, an improved gusseted non-slip tongue, soft padded collar and ultra smooth micro-suede liner.
Perhaps the most attractive upgrade is the addition of a Lunarlon inner sole for maximum comfort, which represents the combined sensibilities of Converse and Nike who have produced a new American classic.
