It’s muggy, hot and gloomy in southern California right now, but that isn’t preventing Dam-Funk from producing grooves tailor-made for more traditional, brighter, BBQ-friendly west coast summers. Stones Throw’s resident funk-revivalist has unveiled a video for “We Continue,” a new song set to be featured on Dam-Funk’s forthcoming album Invite the Light. Like Dam-Funk’s past exercises in funk, this one continues to cement the Pasadena polymath’s unquestionable, unparalleled spot at the top of his craft.
