After treating us to his first single “Flames of a Phoenix,” 19-year-old Brit producer XO has dropped his latest track in the form of “U&I.” Making its debut on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, XO calls on vocal assistance from Canadian songstress Shay Lia for a trade on trade of the bitter woes of a break-up. Talking to FADAR, he comments: “The song essentially demonstrates that we’re only human and our desire for someone of the past isn’t something we should be embarrassed by or ashamed of.” That being said, don’t let the yearning lyrics swerve you out of the undeniable groove dosed on this perfect weekend track.
