Following his surprise Creative Director appointment back in January, Alessandro Michele presented his second menswear collection for Gucci during an exclusive show in New York City last night. Michele sent a colorful and eccentric, ’60s and 70’s inspired collection down the runway that included everything from pom-pom hats and patch-laden blazers to floral and plaid print outerwear. The whimsical, experimental nature suggests this is truly a changing of tides for Gucci, which spent 10 years under the helm of Frida Giannini before her quick exit last December.
