Valentino has debuted something not always seen on the runway (ironically), a collection of clothes that plenty of men will want to include in their closets because they’re actually wearable. Simple but still undeniably stylish, head designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli offered a collection that picked at about every culture you could name off the top of your head. “Cultures become one culture—that’s what we find exciting,” according to Chiuri, and it shows in the pieces which include hints of military, punk, Native American, denim and so much more. But the star of the collection were the outerwear pieces, ranging all the way from leather jackets, bombers to trench coats. Despite the varied range, each piece was completed impeccably, and unsurprisingly so. Superb construction includes hand-stitched and thermal-bonded denim and premium silks and cotton. Get your credit cards ready for the spring, because this is a covetable collection.
