While some of us are stuck with craftless (yet still hard-to-assemble) furniture, Japanese retail giant UNITED ARROWS and compatriot urban property developer PROUD apply their accrued taste to a special collection of furniture. Comprised of beautiful, minimal storage cabinets, coffee tables, sofas and chairs, the minimal pieces were developed to fill the show homes under the PROUD umbrella. Accordingly, the pieces are crafted with upscale materials such as Irish linen, thick imported leather and solid oak. Although originally intended as fill-space for PROUD’s show apartments and homes, the collection will also go on sale at UNITED ARROWS’ Harajuku Women’s Museum at the middle of this month.
