Following in the footsteps of fellow premium cable network HBO, Showtime is set to launch its very own standalone streaming service. The new service, which will simply be called Showtime, is set to launch July 12 for a monthly price of just $11 USD and — much like HBO Now — will be an Apple exclusive while offering live streaming and full access to Showtime’s entire collection of films and original programming. Furthermore, apps will be available for the Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad while new subscribers will be able to take advantage of a free 30-day trial at launch.
