Paul Smith again arrives as one of the favorites during fashion week, delivering yet another wonderfully diverse collection for spring/summer 2016. Whether through the use of skinny patterned ties or the overarching influences of both mod and glam rock, the collection is cohesively wearable, addressing contemporary tastes while also preserving a certain sense of rebellion. The collection is predominantly comprised of slim, tapered tailoring silhouettes, interspersed with stage-ready T-shirts, effeminate (yet bold) drop-neck silk and knit tops, and flowing trousers. Various shades of green and yellow are used to represent the traditional notion of springtime growth, though a color palette of black and white generally grounds the offering in wearability.
