Packer Shoes joins sports and apparel label ‘47 Brand to produce the “Independent Pleasure Club” collection. Paying homage to the Independent Pleasure Club of New Jersey – one of the original “Black Fives” squads during the segregated Black Fives Era of basketball from 1904 up until 1950 when the NBA became racially integrated – the collaborative collection highlights the original IPC team colors of forest green and ivory throughout the Captain RF snapbacks, two Open Court T-shirts, an Alpha tank top, “All-Time” crewneck sweatshirt, Overload jacket, and IPC Pennant.
