Kendrick Lamar returns to Summer Jam this year as the event’s headlining artist. His high-energy performance was filled with tracks off both good kid, m.A.A.d city and To Pimp a Butterfly, as well as select songs by ScHoolboy Q, who made a surprise guest appearance. However, the most unexpected guest was Welven Da Great, the trending social media celebrity. He was brought out during Kendrick’s rendition of “Alright,” in addition to Ab-Soul and E-40.
