Canon introduces a new premium compact camera with powerful zoom capabilities with the PowerShot G3 X as part of its flagship G series. The water resistant 20.2MP G3 X features a 1080p HD video function at 60fps, a 3.2-inch touch-enabled articulating LCD screen, five-axis image stabilization, DIGIC 6 image processor, a one-inch sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi and audio jacks for headphones and microphones. Its astounding 25X optical zoom is equivalent to a 24-600mm f/2.8-5.6 zoom. The Canon PowerShot G3 X will be available this July for $999 USD.
