Watch an Animated Snoop Dogg Perform New Song "On Our Block"

With his new album BUSH receiving great reviews across media, Snoop Dogg is keeping the promotional wheel on full turn. The Long Beach native is set to appear as “Street Dog” on Nickelodeon’s cartoon Sanjay & Craig later this week. In the episode, which premieres May 17 at 7:30 p.m., rap icon Street Dogg moves next door to the 12-year-old protagonist and his pet snake. He’s come to suburbia to escape the bright lights of LA and make some new music. Nickelodeon isn’t the first TV stop for the rapper. In March, Snoop starred as himself on the season 1 finale of Fox’s Empire, where he performed new single “Peaches and Cream,” and he’s been vocal about returning for another stint on the show.
