Todd Saunders of Saunders Architecture recently commissioned his architecture firm to design a house in Bergen, Norway, dubbed “Villa S.” Situated in the middle of a lush forest, the unique structure features modern lines and contours that offer up an illusion of a hovering 35-meter construction. With his family members in mind, the majority of the living space is located at the upper floors, including bedrooms, a living room, a dining area, a kitchen, as well as a library at the highest point of the house. Underneath lies an open entrance area with ample storage for bicycles, kayaks and other outdoor equipment, designed specifically for outings with the family over the weekend.
