Thanks to a potential valuation of more the $50 billion USD, Uber is set to break ground on its brand new headquarters in San Francisco later this fall. Teased here and set to be located in the city’s Mission Bay neighborhood — which will also, eventually, be home to the Golden State Warriors — the new campus will occupy an area that at one time was going to be home to cloud computing giant Salesforce before it opted to build a giant skyscraper downtown instead. Marked by everything from a glass-enclosed atrium and transparent walkways that connect the buildings, Uber’s new HQ will open sometime in 2017 or 2018.
