In the past few years, Emmanuelle Moureaux has designed several locations for the Sugamo Shinkin Bank in Japan. However, the entire design belies what many envision a bank to feel like — sterile and boring. These colorful and cheery designs are a welcome addition to roadsides, with each of the locations completely different but tied by a similar thread of using a myriad of pastel colors. Each location tie the exterior with the interior perfectly, with the color palette imbued throughout. Perfectly executing a geometric aesthetic that may seem sharp and harsh, the color palette makes the aesthetic completely cheerful that definitely enhances customer experience.
