Saunders Architects proves that sometimes less really is more with their innovative “Slice” retreat building. Located it Haugesund, Norway, the structure itself is just 15 square meters in size, and provides all the basic necessities for those looking for a place to relax and spend a day or night enjoying the outdoors. Designed to be immersed in its surroundings, plum trees grow through the terrace, while large windows and stark walls open the compact space and give the illusion of bringing the outdoors in.
