Matthew Miller unveils a new part of his Spring/Summer 2015 collection with the “Born to Fail” capsule. The “Born to Fail” motif, originally seen back in the designer’s 2013 fall/winter offering, was updated by Miller in conjunct with London-based designer and typographer R. Ventura, who has injected a bit of youthful pizazz to the custom print work. Accordingly, the collection is comprised of several hand-painted T-shirts, sweatshirts and even iterations of Miller’s now-hallmark biker jackets. Of the collection, Miller stated his mission: “Over the next few weeks, a generation brought up to believe they are ‘born to fail’ have the opportunity to change the system, and therefore, their future,” going on to assert this particular collection as his sort of thesis on social politics. Head on to Matthew Miller’s website to purchase pieces from the collection.
