Very few of D’Angelo‘s live performances are available for high-quality streaming online. He recently recorded a live session for Spotify that includes some of his latest work as well as some older songs. For this set, D’Angelo plays Black Messiah’s lead single, “Really Love,” “The Door,” and “Betray My Heart” which he transitions into Voodoo’s “Spanish Joint” before closing with a cover of his idol, Prince’s “She’s Always In My Hair.” If you aren’t making it to one of his tour dates this summer, this set is your next best option.
