Brooklyn dancefloor ambassadors Holy Ghost! deliver their take on Jose Gonzalez‘s impressive “Let It Carry You” single. The piece will appear on their upcoming compilation of reworks, Work For Hire, which is due May 5. Along with the rework, the duo sends out following words, highlighting their sonic approach for it.

“Jose’s voice is so good that it made working on this remix really enjoyable. We started it by recording new live drums in our studio in Bushwick, then added the bass line on the modular and chords on the cs80, and pretty quickly we were excited about where it was going. It took about 2 weeks to make and it was just really pleasant and fun the whole time. It’s the last remix on the album and it’s now one of our favorites.”
