With Long Beach native Ben Fisher featured in the first installment of our #fromwhereiskate video series, we now follow Vancouver-born Jordan Hoffart to a particular postbox along a stretch of road in Vista, California, as he gives us a glimpse into one of his favorite skate spots in the area. Having started skating at age 6 — a pursuit which has since dominated his life for the past 23 years — Hoffart, who holds the world record for the longest ollie, identifies the trick as “the basis of every other trick in modern-day skateboarding.” Going on to demonstrate his mastery over the trick, watch the video above as Hoffart lands one with unequaled flourish.
