Caribou is invited to the latest episode of BBC Radio 1 Residency, which is currently hosted by Jon Hopkins. During the Ontarian’s set, Caribou shared a new Daphni track (the alias he went under to release his 2013 album Jiaolong). He reveals that the track was made for the purpose of playing it on his New Year’s Day live sets with Four Tet. On the track, he jokingly shares that it is “sloppily put together and poorly mixed,” but John seemed to have received it quite well. Listen to the song here at the 27-minute mark.
