Having been around for 230 years already, it’s safe to say Birkenstock has established itself as the premier sandal manufacturer for some time now. Despite the continuous releases of its traditional silhouettes, the German company has made an effort to venture into the fashion world through past collaborations with the likes of Concepts and UNDERCOVER. Now, Birkenstock has tapped Japanese style purveyors BEAUTY & YOUTH for a joint effort which sees the Arizona sandal rendered in an eye-catching iridescent colorway. The unique two-strap is complemented by the standard cork sole and a white outsole. Priced at ¥9,720 JPY (approximately $81 USD), the Arizona “Mirror” sandals are available at BEAUTY & YOUTH retailers in Japan, while the online store should see a restock in the near future.
