We know the Mercedes G-Class. Since its commercial introduction back in 1979, the luxury SUV has represented the finest in road ruggedness, managing to survive changing trends with its classic stylings and unparalleled performance. For 2016, the car remains relatively unchanged, although updates to the engine specs, interior and performance body might render this G-Class the best one yet. Underneath the hood, Mercedes puts ecological concerns at the forefront, outfitting the turbocharged 4.0 liter, V8 engine with an ECO stop/start function to reduce emissions. Plush leather interior is centered around rocket ship tooling within the cockpit, while Mercedes’ proprietary on-board entertainment system helps make any adventure that much easier. At the exterior, the G-Class is buffed up by restyled bumpers and flared wheel wells. Take a gander at this beauty above; head here to get started on taking the 2016 G-Class for a spin.
