The Dream and JAY Z Are Starting An “Art Label” Together

In an interview with XXL, The Dream disclosed that he is partnering with the businessman for a business, man. Mr. Nash and Mr. Carter are starting a new label, “Contra Paris.”

“Yeah, we’re building Contra Paris, which is an art label. It’s about art overall, period. Anything that’s art, we’re trying to get into. I have a lot of people hitting me on Instagram, guys and girls, that are trying to fuse music with their culture. Whatever that culture is, as long as it’s art.”

Although the Dream told XXL that him and JAY Z are working together now more than ever, he would not speak on whether we can expect new music from them together. With the release of the first half of Crown Jewel this past week and the second half coming late summer, we hope so. However with The Dream/Hov “art label” collab we can definitely expect plenty of hugely supported new artists.
