Sam Smith has nothing but praise for Rihanna. In a new interview with French TV program Le Grand Journal, the “Lay Me Down” singer emphatically tells host Antoine de Caunes that he “loves” the “B*tch Better Have My Money” songstress. “I actually love her. She nearly turned me straight the night I met her,” Smith jokes. NME points out that the adoration is a mutual, bringing up a recent interview The Sun conducted with RiRi where the singer gave the following statement regarding Sam Smith:

“He is so talented. It would be amazing to work with him…He is such a beautiful songwriter, but more important than that, he is an absolutely beautiful person, and that comes across in his songs.”
