The Neptures might be the most famous musical duo that Pharrell is part of, but after his appearance on The Tonight Show last night, his new partnership is the one everyone is talking about. The Grammy-winning producer and creative powerhouse appeared on the long-running late night show, and with the help of host Jimmy Fallon, took us back to the ’80s while performing as R&B duo “Afro & Deziak.” Sporting shiny suits, the duo got their funk on in a series of clips, performing tracks with such quotable lyrics as “Girl, can you pay my rent this month?” Or, “Girl, can you cover my shift at IHOP?” Check out Pharrell and Jimmy, or should we say, Afro & Deziak, getting down above.
