The ASICS GEL-Lyte III is celebrating its quarter-of-a-century birthday this year, and with the help of Concepts there’s a special pair of GEL-Lytes to commemorate the anniversary. The Boston-based streetwear mainstay is paying homage to its hometown and taking inspiration from historical events such as the Boston Tea Party. Decked out in patriotic flair touting a red, white and blue palette, the colors represent the Red Coats (British) and the Blue Coats (Patriots). Completing the rest of the shoe are shimmering hints of gold and silver in the branding stripes. The shoes will be available May 2 at Concepts.
