& Other Stories x Vans 2015 Spring/Summer Collection

Described by European fashion house & Other Stories as “seamlessly refined and irresistibly fun,” their latest collaboration with Vans sees the duo offer a unique interpretation of two classic silhouettes – the Vans Slip-On and Old Skool. Defined by a distinctly feminine color palette that has called on a lighter hue, the materials and patterns used within the collaboration have been directly inspired by & Other Stories’ Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The Old Skool iteration has retained many of its familiar design cues with & Other Stories applying a completely monochromatic finish to the shoe’s upper and reserving the traditionally raised detailing of the model’s side stripe to a minimalistic stitched line. The Vans Slip-On exhibits its usual elasticated side detailing around the foot entrance, with one model being offered in the same beige leather as its Old Skool counterpart as well as a white leather alternative consisting of a patterned outsole and roughly painted polka dot upper.
