Blended Babies featuring Sir Michael Rocks, Asher Roth, Like & Jon B - Shadows

Blended Babies have shared a new single entitled “Shadows,” featuring Sir Michael Rocks, Asher Roth, Jon B and Pac Div‘s Like. The all-star lineup recruited for the song certainly adds an interesting mix to Blended Babies’ silken grooves and rubbery funk-riffs here, with Jon B’s smooth hook tying the whole piece together. The Cool Kids may not be coming back, Pac Div might not have the spotlight they once had and Asher Roth has completely shifted his sound, but all three sound better than ever. Also, lines like, “‘69 chevy playin’ Pete Rock’s ‘Take You There’” just sound like they were tailor-made for this sort of production. You can check out Blended Babies’ “Shadows” below.
