adidas has released the adizero 99g Boot, touted to be the lightest pair of football kicks of all time. Previously revealed to be a concept model presented by the Innovation Lab in 2013, the adizero 99g Boot is the first release in the new adidas Football “Limited Collection.” Combining advances in fabric technology and design innovations, the boots sport a 1mm polyamide outsole, an impossibly lightweight upper made from a single layer of woven polyester mesh, and a unique triangular stud layout which increases movement precision. Only 299 pairs will be sold with each individually numbered and are available from April 15 from adidas retail outlets and specialist retailers worldwide for $320 USD.
