Young Thug is titling his next project Carter 6. The Atlanta native has shared a song snippet via his Instagram earlier today. When he first announced the project, he stated he wanted to carry on the tradition that Lil Wayne has built with his five albums in the past years. With the tension between Birdman and Tunechi rising and Wayne’s Tha Carter V still waiting for a release date, this might not be the most appropriate way to straighten things out at this point. However, Thugger is shouting out Wayne in the snippet below and even samples his song “Grindin.”
