Volkswagen Sport Coupé Concept GTE

Volkswagen presents the latest Sport rendition to the Coupé Concept GTE. Boasting an advanced plug-in hybrid system connecting a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with a pair of electric motors and a six-speed dual clutch transmission, the latest CC GTE produces a combined output of 374 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of front wheel torque, propelling the vehicle to a top speed of 155 mph and a 0-60 time of 5 seconds. A sleek, aerodynamic exterior construction outfits the model as a signature grille and LED lights accentuate the futuristic aesthetic. Decorating the inner 4-seat cabin are 12-inch visual displays equipped with an advanced interface technology, providing a smartwatch-adaptable navigation system in addition to entertainment capabilities. The Volkswagen Sport Coupé Concept GTE is scheduled to be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3.
