The Kadir Warriors — a street collective that formed over a shared love of Vans sneakers — are demonstrating their brand loyalty once again by teaming up with famed Singaporean artist SBTG (a.k.a. Mark Ong) for the second installment of their custom sneaker series. Entitled “Feline Fury,” the new releases feature STBG’s signature Tiger and Leopard camouflage print applied to the uppers of two Vans classics: the Sk8-Hi and the Old Skool models. While not a dramatic departure when it comes to aesthetics, the concept of animal/camo print is used to great effect, and coupled with the striking red heel cups and the bold text along the upper, giving the two shoes a very distinct visual character. Look for the “Feline Fury” shoes online here, priced at $500 USD each.
