President Barack Obama Sheds Light on His Relationship with Kanye West
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last Friday, President Barack Obama opened up about Kanye
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last Friday, President Barack Obama opened up about Kanye West‘s recent statement regarding the President calling his home phone. Quoted during West’s lecture at Oxford University, the lecture went on to bring Elon Musk into the conversation before adding that Obama “calls the home phone.” Although Obama denied calling West’s home phone, he did have positive things to say about the artist. Below is an excerpt from the conversation between Jimmy Kimmel and President Barack Obama:
“I’ve met Kanye twice. The first time when I was a senator, and he was with his mom. He had just gotten big and he’s from Chicago … He was very soft spoken, very gracious. He was a young guy, hadn’t quite come into his own. Then, about six months ago, he came to an event,” the President added. “Look, I love his music, he’s incredibly creative, but I don’t think I have his home number.”
In response to that, TMZ caught up with Kanye at LAX to do what they do best. Keeping it cool, West insists that Barack has called his home phone before. Watch the clip below for the brief chat at LAX.
