In observance of Nike’s Air Max Day on March 26, the brand is set to celebrate the original Air Max as designed by Tinker Hatfield and then-developer Mark Parker. Instead of the seminal Air Max 1 though, Nike has indicated an existing design that predates the 1987 release. Dubbed “One Before The 1,” Nike sifted through Hatfield’s sketches to bring the original design to public view. Check the teaser above while we await the full surprise towards the end of the month.
