In most good design, form follows function. In MUJI’s case, composition follows consciousness. Here the beloved Japanese brand launches a new focus on sustainability, rolling out the “Cotton of MUJI” lookbook to highlight its forthcoming goods. The brand is set to use 100% organic cotton across its apparel line whenever possible, hoping to reduce its environmental impact. The aesthetics though are kept the same, with MUJI here offering a smart array of button-ups, jackets, crewnecks, cardigans and trousers – offered in a versatile and neutral color palette. Of particular note, water-repellent treated cotton makes an appearance in the lineup – a nifty feature to combat spring showers. Check out the goods in the photo set here, then head over to MUJI’s site to cop your favorites.
