Slovenia isn’t exactly the heart of the skateboarding scene, but it’s often the people furthest removed from the industry that offer the most refreshing perspectives. Slovenian photographer Rob Dragan has just released a new photo set highlighting not merely the action of skateboarding, but also encapsulating the environments in which it takes place. Through his line-driven composition, Dragan echoes the internal peace achieved through skating with the expansive surroundings. One of the photos from the series – which features Dragan’s brother Rok – has already won a Canon photo contest Slovenia. Check out the set above.
