Musink is the mecca for all things counterculture. Having run just over eight years now, it takes place annually at the Orange County Fair and Events Center and is hosted by none other than Travis Barker. In attendance are the most outrageously body modified anti-socialites on the planet. It also exhibits classic cars, alternative models, music and 24oz beers on draft. While some newcomers may find the event intimidating and even scary, the festivity was definitely not dangerous as violence is prohibited and discouraged. It intends for people from all walks and backgrounds of life to come together for good, nondiscriminatory time. Artists featured this year demonstrate the participants’ wide spectrum in musical taste, with acts such as Blink-182, Yelawolf, Bad Religion, Rancid, street-goth pioneers PRAYERS blessing the attending crowd with live performances. The good folks at Famous Stars and Straps deliver accompanying photography to get a taste of this spectacle of a festival.
