KITH and Japanese clothier Ones Stroke renew their relationship, building on last year’s “Genesis” collaboration to introduce the “Selvedge Denim Program” for 2015. Offering a gamut of selvedge denim-based product and sourcing the highest-quality Japanese materials around, the program includes the likes of the Ginza Shirt and Ueno Denim Pant.
Constructed of 12oz Japanese selvedge denim, the Ginza — available in Stonewash, Black and Ivory — is a contemporary take on a classic button-up that employs an elongated hem along with details like side button vents, a malleable wire-lined collar, and two hand pockets. The Ueno, on the other hand, offers a skinny tapered fit in both raw and distressed styles, each version coupling Indigo, Black, and Ivory executions with selvedge trim at the rear and fifth pockets.
Coinciding with the drop is the latest edition to the KITH Classics range: the Astor MA-1. Bearing a dual heavy-guage matte black front zipper as well as an internal hand pocket, the design comes complete with a zippered left sleeve pocket and a stitched reflective 3M KITH logo for a modern and refined take on the traditional bomber. Priced at $220 USD, the Astor comes i Army Green, Black, Navy and Burgundy.
