The Brik Case: The World's Most Customizable Laptop Case

San Francisco-based Jolt Team has created the Brik Case, the most customizable laptop case in the world. Compatible with the MacBook family, the case features a thin, lightweight grey base made of 1×1 building bricks, upon which users can build playful additions with a variety of different colored bricks. It’s got a strong clip-on, clip-off connecting system, and the bricks won’t fall off when you carry your laptop around or slide it in and out of bags. The brick ridges also enable good hand grip. And while the project is not officially licensed with LEGO and the like, Brik Case is compatible with all major toy brick brand products, including LEGO, Mega Bloks, PixelBlocks, KRE-O and K’NEX bricks. The possibilities are endless — choose to play with words and unique designs of your choice, or add an external business card holder. There’s no other case that can offer you the originality of customized creations, the playfulness of portable toys, and the convenience of change — and without that permanence of putting long lasting stickers on your laptop. The team is currently raising funds on Kickstarter in hopes to truly make this project come to fruition.
